What an assembly of musical talent coming together to sing the anthem ? It does leave a lump in the throat. A R Rahman is doing a great service to the nation for renewing our interest in a rendition that was best reserved for school children on August 15. He popularised Vande Matharam too with his modern, melodious yet soulful composition.

I came across this video yesterday and it gave me goose bumps. Scores of time I have heard/sung the song, but never felt so patriotic! It is a great revival!

Great to see confluence of talent in a short video...wish even MS had a chance to render her vocals !!

This is wonderful, I have seen it before, it came as the Vande Mataram VCD in 1997. It is simply superb.

The "Jana Gana Mana" in "Bose the forgotten hero" is also outstanding.

Very nice video.
